i lewistown, montana

We’re located in Lewistown, MT, known for being the geographic center of Montana. With about 12,000 residents in the county and 6,000 in town, Lewistown is a small but growing community with a professional skate park, swimming pool, raceway, ice skating rink, baseball complex, two golf courses, a 100-year-old movie theater, multiple steakhouses, and a brewery. We're proud to be supported by many local businesses instead of big box stores.

The surrounding landscape includes prairie grasslands nestled between five mountain ranges that feature numerous creeks and rivers, providing excellent fishing, hunting, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, and other outdoor activities. Lewistown is only three hours away from the Missouri River Breaks, a 375,000-acre national monument known for its world-famous big game herds of elk, sheep, and deer.

If you’re interested in what Montana’s bigger cities have to offer, Billings, Great Falls, and Bozeman are all located within a 2.5-hour drive. You can learn more about Lewistown and Central Montana at Hidden Montana, Enjoy Lewistown, Lewistown Chamber of Commerce, and Census.gov.
